Accelerated Reader Program in Final Weeks

Students are in the final stages of the AR motivational reading program for this school year.  For the past several weeks, students have earned recognitions for passing AR quizzes.  These have included tickets for extra book checkout, stickers, bookmarks and a place on the "AR Wall" in the library.  Here is a photo of the wall in its early stages -- many more photos to come!

Fourth Graders Communicate Research with Technology Timeline

Fourth graders created a technology timeline with basic information on a variety of technology advances from the late 1800s to 2012 -- including devices such as the telephone, the television, the fax machine, the polaroid camera, the cassette tape recorder and the tablet computer. Come take a look in the library. You might be surprised by what they learned!
