"AIS Primary School Library Wish List" at Amazon

The Primary School Library now has a wish list at Amazon.com!  What does this mean?  If you want to give a book to the library in honor of someone's birthday or to say thank you or in memory of someone special, then think of this wish list.  Simply search for this wish list, AIS Primary School Library Wish List, on Amazon to easily check the list of books that we feel will add to our collection in a special way.  Then move the book or books from our wish list to your cart for purchase.  We have bookplates to personalize any donated book according to your request. Purchasing a book for donation is as easy as that and will benefit all the students who use the Primary School Library.  We are grateful for your support!

Accelerated Reader Teams Forming

We will be creating Accelerated Reader teams for this year within the next two weeks.  Students had such fun with this program last year and many of our readers are already clamoring to take quizzes this school year.  The beautiful banner in honor of Mountain Team '09, the team that passed the most quizzes last year, is now hanging in the Story Room as an inspiration to this year's readers.  Remember, Accelerated Reader quizzes are available in English, French and Spanish.  German students take quizzes in Antolin and these quizzes count for the AR teams as well.  Your student may come with you to the library before or after school to take an AR quiz!
