Kindergarten Student Projects Attract Interest

Kindergarten student projects highlight the importance of family in the lives of the youngest members of our AIS community.    The students created these engaging projects in their respective French, Spanish and German classes.  The library was filled with these reflections of the diversity of our student body and the international-mindedness of our families.  So much fun to walk along the display and imagine our kindergarten students working with their parents to select special photos and mementos that said "this is who I am"!

New Netbooks are a BIG Hit with Students!

Students are delighted with the new netbooks in the PS Library and so are the library staff members!  We now have enough netbooks for each student in a class to have their own computer to access online resources during library time.  An informal survey suggests that most students are familiar with laptops and/or netbooks from home.  This may account for the relative ease with which the students have adapted to the new technology!  Students also use the netbooks to take AR quizzes and to browse the library catalog.
