Fall Book Fair a big success (and lots of fun)!

The annual Fall Book Fair was lots of fun this year! The theme, Destination:Reading, fit perfectly with our global community and the library was decorated with colorful flags, travel photo snapshots, hot air balloon decorations and streamers of delicate folded paper cranes. The library is so grateful for the wonderful community support and each of our fantastic book fair volunteers!

Library Workshops Provide Valuable Information for Parents

Some 15 parents recently attended library workshops focused on the library electronic resources and reading motivation programs. New this year at the library are the library website within the All-School Portal and the web-based library catalog. Parents learned how to access the PS library pages within the newly-designed school website. They also learned about the various research and reading resources available to members of the AIS community, including the ever-popular Tumblebooks and the Grolier, World Book and Britannica multi-lingual databases. If you are a parent and would like to know more about the online resources of the PS library, please contact Sharon Hermann, Primary School Librarian.
