Welcome Back to School and the Library

Hello all AIS readers!

Welcome back to school! I hope you all had a wonderful summer and enjoyed lots of recreational activities, including reading. This summer I read East, by Edith Pattou, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J. K. Rowling, and several "teacher books" that probably wouldn't interest you too much! What did you read? Be sure and let me know what you liked!

This year in the library we have lots of activities planned. I have some leads on several author visits. I'm planning to have regular book talk weeks featuring books from each of our language collections. We are working on student book reviews and other new features for our library program.
