Jane Kurtz Visit Great Success!

Students in 5K through 5th grades had a wonderful time meeting Jane Kurtz and learning about her fascinating childhood and how it influences her writing. Ms. Kurtz showed us pictures of tigers and mountains and Ethiopian food and her family. She encouraged students to write about their own experiences and memories and to be prepared to revise, revise and revise as part of the editorial process. After her presentations, she authographed books and posed for pictures. She loved AIS and we loved her too!
